Plant Walks
 
On October 9, 2004, Dr. Susan Yost of the Claude E. Phillips Herbarium at Delaware State University will lead a Fall Botany walk for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Milton, DE, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. as part of the day-long events in conjunction with the refuge’s  annual Waterfowl Festival.  This walk is free, open to the public.  More information about this event or the Waterfowl Festival is available at the Refuge Office at 11978 Turkle Pond, Milton, DE 19968, or by contacting Bill Jones (302) 684-8419, or at:  http://primehook.fws.gov/
On October 9, 2004, Dr. Yost will lead a Plant Walk  from 2 to 4 p.m. for the Society of Natural History of Delaware.  This walk will take place in Dover on the Delaware State University’s recently completed Nature Trail.  This walk is free and open to the public.  Meet at the Claude E.
