 | With the recent wet weather in Delaware, mushrooms are sprouting like housing developments in Sussex County. This Fall, Michael Maciarello, Research Instructor in the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences at Delaware State University will lead several mushroom walks.

 | On October 9, 2004, Michael Maciarello will lead a mushroom walk for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Milton, DE, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. as part of the day-long events in conjunction with the refuge's annual Waterfowl Festival. This walk is free, open to the public and especially popular with children.  | Also on October 9, 2004, Michael will lead a mushroom walk from 2 to 4 p.m. for the Society of Natural History of Delaware. This walk will take place in Dover on the Delaware State University's recently completed Nature Trail. This walk is free and open to the public.
