The following experiment is a fun and easy way to see the effects of germination and the quick growth of grass
These are the materials needed to make your own fast growing floating forest:
-Cork coaster or large piece of thick cork
-Grass seed
-Large tray to hold about 1-2 inches of water
-Water
Methods:
Evenly coat the top of a cork coaster with grass seed.
Fill a large tray with one to two inches of water.
Place the seed covered coaster in the tray of water.
Place
the tray in a semi sunny window.
The island will come to life in about a week!
